I'm not sure on the direction for the evening for adults. Our primary goal is decreasing/stopping atod use by teens. Our campaign has been targeted towards adults to increase their knowledge, parenting skills, and awareness of consequences of use and providing to minors. Ja.Co. has a high domestic violence problem.
Any ideas on the direction you'd like to go there?
Not sure how we are going to get parents to attend. Our coalition meets Aug. 25th wo hopefully they'll have some ideas or maybe know of groups already meeting. Pastors have confided that the problems are just as evident in church families as unchurched. Hopefully, they will be of help to families from their congregations involved.
I would also like to have a news article written for the paper the week before. Do you have anything you could send me?

Hey, You had an aswesome assembly, you gave to us kids at Twin Cedars Jr./Sr. Highschool out of Bussey, Iowa, last year. It made, a lot of sense, and yes we understood what you were saying, while we where listening to a lecture, that really, didn't feel like one. You got through to a friend of mine, named Garould Johnson, and I have seen him improve a lot over this past year. I just have to say that when I went to one of your conferences in 2001, I never imagined I would still be using the information into my adulthood. I work at a residential facility for juveniles now and we use your groups, ice-breakers, and team builders all the time. It's hard to beleive that first conference was 7 years ago almost to the date.
