The “YOGOWYPI” Factor high school assembly is one of Bills most requested programs! It is a fun, energetic program that is filled with humor and a perfect program to create a positive environment in your school. In this program students will get engaged,  laugh a lot and gain a “ton of tools” to support them in creating a positive high school experience!

What is the assembly about?

It is really about how the choices that we make today affect our future! Bill will hit on tons of topics that are important to todays’ high school students such as relationships, friendships, drugs an alcohol, bullying, respect, maximizing classroom time, social networking,  personal responsibility, making good choices while driving and the importance of getting the most out of your high school years. If you have a specific issue you want Bill to address just let us know and we can work with you!

What should we expect from the assembly?

Lots and lots of laughter! The assembly is filled with humor, but humor with a purpose. Bill uses humor as a tool to talk into the tough issues that face todays teens. After the assembly students will want to talk about the issues that come up, so it is a good idea for teachers to allow some time during class to discuss those issues. Since Bill spends a lot of time talking about relationships you can expect that the school will feel a little bit lighter after the assembly, you may see a lot more smiles and a lot more incidents of students respecting one another. The most important thing that you can expect is that your students will start thinking about their life and they will start thinking about how their choices today will affect the rest of their lives.

The Learning Game teaches middle school students all the tools they need to succeed in middle school and beyond.  It is based upon the idea that school is a very fun, yet very serious game and up until now maybe they didn’t understand all the rules about how the game is played. In this humor-filled hour students will learn the strategies necessary to get along with peers, we will discuss “the bully factor”. Students will understand how to create positive relationships as well as how to interact with teachers so they can get the most out of middle school. Students will learn the three most important tools for maximizing their education experience.

1. “Class it UP!”: A powerful learning strategy that focuses on 6 key elements for student success.
2. “Chunking and Modeling”: Students can be more successful when they focus on how to break things down and how to model excellence.
3. “The Power of Imagination”: When we know where we are headed we are more willing to work harder to get what we want.
The 3D School Unity Project is a one-day retreat for 60-125 students and it works best if we can put an entire class through the training program. Think of it as a “Class-Retreat” for freshman or sophomores that teaches students how to deal with difficult situations so that classes can learn to respect and trust each other and communicate with each other in a way that is respectful and meaningful.  High school can be a very difficult environment if there is not a lot of understanding and respect.  This workshop creates a day in which students can learn these skills now so they can learn to deal with challenging personalities for the rest of their lives!

In a school, just like in any group or organization it is our Decisions that Determine our Direction. The 3D School Unity project is about preparing students to create compelling environments wherever they go. Why not start now! For the rest of our lives we are going to be faced with challenging scenarios in which our success will be determined not by what happens, but how we respond to what happens. In this one-day workshop students learn to understand relationships, how to create better environments and how to make the most out of whatever we are given.

This workshop works best with 80-125 students and/or choosing the freshman or sophomore class to go through the program every year. Once classes are trained in how to deal with challenging situations they are better able to handle them when they come up. Think of it as a one-day retreat where students learn to understand each other, how to deal with different personality styles and how to get the most out of their high school experience.

What Topics are Covered in this Retreat/Leadership Workshop

1. Students gain a solid understanding that different people deal with the world in different ways and that by learning to understand “everyone is unique” we learn to appreciate differences rather than judge them.

2. Students learn strategies for dealing with conflict

3. The challenges of social-networking and how what we post says more about us-than what it says about others. Students also learn about the potential long term dangers of social-networking and how to post only what is “Clean Powerful and Positive”.

4. Bullies,  bullying and negative behaviors that create drama. How and why it is best to avoid these behaviors.

5. A solid sense of mutual respect and appreciation.

6. How to communicate feelings and emotions so that we are not igniting fires but creating understanding.

7. The power of personal responsibility. Yep, bad stuff is going to happen, but the difference that makes the difference  is not, “what happens” but “How we respond to what happens.” Remember, this workshop is based upon the concept that it is our decisions that determine our direction.

The Powerful Principles of Leadership workshop is designed to teach the principles necessary for high school students to be able to lead effectively. Participants will be led through a series of challenges and activities that are designed to create dialogue around the areas of leadership.  Students will learn strategies for dealing with challenges, dealing with difficult people, how to build consensus as well as how to deal with conflict. Students will learn about their own leadership style as well as how to work with others who see the world differently from them. This workshop is perfect for a conference breakout, or can be adapted to be a one day leadership workshop and retreat.

Leadership and service go hand in hand, in fact you can’t be an effective leader without a heart of service. Too often leadership is seen as someone who has the answers, they are the “go to” person the “hero” of the situation.  That is often our perception of leadership but the reality of leadership the person who “has all the answers” is often shunned by the organization because it is difficult to be around someone who “knows it all”.  ”Leading with a Heart of Service” is all about looking at the questions of leadership rather than the answers. It is getting people to see that when we approach challenges it is best to do it with our heart rather than with our heads. During this workshop participants will engage in activities designed to look at how we normally approach leadership situations and then discuss how these situations apply in their lives. This workshop is lively informative and life changing!
